Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner, His Excellency Nyahuma Obika and Her Excellency Mrs. Dela Obika departed on Sunday 13th February 2011 on a British Airways flight at 6.55pm from Piarco International Airport. After brief stopovers in St. Lucia, Gatwick and Heathrow, they arrived in Abuja on Tuesday 15th February at 5.30am. The contingent also included Abraham Mahmood and Lynette Phillip who have been selected for service at the High Commissioner’s residence in Abuja. read more... |

NJAC man is T&T’s new ambassador to Nigeria

Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar yesterday presented instruments of appointments to two new diplomats. They are Nyahuma Mentuhotep Obika, who has been appointed High Commissioner to Nigeria and Dr Neil Parsan, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary to the United States as well as Ambassador to the United Mexican States.
